The co-educational Junior School caters for children from eleven to thirteen years. The school, which is residential and non-residential, offers a rich educational programme of curricula and extra-curricula activities providing the children an easy transition to the three High Schools within the Convitto Nazionale. The educational programme aims to extend and enhance their academic and social skills in a warm learning environment.
The educational programme provided by the Convitto Nazionale is unique in its kind in that the children are taught by a team of highly qualified teachers and specialized tutors.
The academic timetable, from Monday to Friday, is organised in morning and afternoon sessions from 8.00 to 13.00 and 15.00 to 17.30.
Lunch is provided in the school’s dining room.
The rich extra-curricula programme includes a wide range of activities from art, music and drama to English and French language courses leading to DELF and Cambridge KET certificates, as well as a variety of sports.
